ਅਰਥ: (ਮਨਮੁਖ ਦੇ) ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਅਕਲ ਹੋਛੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਉਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਦਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ; ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਧੋਖਾ (ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ) ਉਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਧੋਖਾ ਹੀ ਧੋਖਾ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਮਨਮੁਖ ਬੰਦੇ ਆਪ) ਦੁਖੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ (ਤੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਦੁਖੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ; ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ (ਭਾਵ, ਭਾਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ) ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਗ਼ਰਜ਼ ਦੇ ਪਿਛੇ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ; ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ! ਜੇ ਹਰੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰੇ,ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਗ੍ਰਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨਮੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਥਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਟਿਕਦਾ। ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ (ਮਾਇਆ ਵਿਚ) ਸੜਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਪ ਦੁਖੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਖੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੋਭ-ਰੂਪ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਢੁਕਦਾ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਦੁਖੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਦੇ ਸੁਖੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ, ਸਦਾ ਜੰਮਣ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਵਿਚ ਪਏ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ! ਜੇ ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਚਿੱਤ ਜੋੜਨ, ਤਾਂ ਸੱਚਾ ਹਰੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਲਏ ॥੨॥ ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸੰਤ ਹਨ, ਭਗਤ ਹਨ ਉਹੀ ਕਬੂਲ ਹਨ। ਉਹੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਹਰੀ-ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ-ਰੂਪ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਨ-ਧੂੜ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਤੇ ਲਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ! (ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਹਰੀ (ਦੇ ਭਜਨ-ਰੂਪ) ਤੀਰਥ ਤੇ ਨ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨੬॥

अंतरि अगिआनु भई मति मधिम सतिगुर की परतीति नाही ॥ अंदरि कपटु सभु कपटो करि जाणै कपटे खपहि खपाही ॥ सतिगुर का भाणा चिति न आवै आपणै सुआइ फिराही ॥ किरपा करे जे आपणी ता नानक सबदि समाही ॥१॥ मः ४ ॥ मनमुख माइआ मोहि विआपे दूजै भाइ मनूआ थिरु नाहि ॥ अनदिनु जलत रहहि दिनु राती हउमै खपहि खपाहि ॥ अंतरि लोभु महा गुबारा तिन कै निकटि न कोई जाहि ॥ ओइ आपि दुखी सुखु कबहू न पावहि जनमि मरहि मरि जाहि ॥ नानक बखसि लए प्रभु साचा जि गुर चरनी चितु लाहि ॥२॥ पउड़ी ॥ संत भगत परवाणु जो प्रभि भाइआ ॥ सेई बिचखण जंत जिनी हरि धिआइआ ॥ अम्रितु नामु निधानु भोजनु खाइआ ॥ संत जना की धूरि मसतकि लाइआ ॥ नानक भए पुनीत हरि तीरथि नाइआ ॥२६॥

अर्थ: (मनमुख के) हिरदे में अज्ञान है, (उस की) अकल (मति) नादान होती है और सतगुरु ऊपर उस को सिदक नहीं होता; मन में धोखा (होने के कारन संसार में भी) वह सारा धोखा ही धोखा समझता है। (मनमुख मनुष्य खुद) दुःखी होते हैं ( व ओरों को) दुखी करते हैं; सतिगुरु का हुकम उनके चित मे नही आता (मतलब,भाणा नही मांनते) आेर अपनी मत के पीछे भटकते रहते हैं ; नानक जी! जे हरी अपनी कॄपा करे ,ता ही वह गुरू के शब्द मे लीन होते हैं ॥१॥ माया के मोह मे फसे हुए मनमुख का मन माया के प्यार मे एक जगह नही टिकता। हर समय दिन रात (माया मे) सड़ते रहते हैं। अहंकार मे आप दुखी होते हैं ओर दुसरो को करते हैं। उनके अंदर लोभ रूपी बडा अंधेरा होता है, कोई मनुष उनके पास नही जाता। वह अपने अाप ही दुखी रहते हैं,कभी सुखी नही होते, सदा जन्म मरन के चक्करों मे पडे रहते हैं। नानक जी! जे वह गुरू के चरनो मे चित जोडन तो सचा हरी उनको माफ कर दे ॥२॥ जो मनुष्य प्रभू को प्यारे हैं, वह संत हैं, वह भगत हैं वही कबूल हैं। वही मनुष्य सही है जो हरी नाम जपते हैं। आतमिक जीवन देन वाला नाम ख़जाना-रूपी भोजन खाते हैं, ओर संतो की चरन-धूड़ अपने माथे पर लगाते हैं। नानक जी!(इस तरह के मनुष्य) हरी (के भजन-रूपी) तीर्थ मे नहाते हैं ओर पवित्र हो जाते हैं ॥२६॥

Night and day, they are burning; day and night, they are totally ruined by their egotism. Within them, is the total pitch darkness of greed, and no one even approaches them. They themselves are miserable, and they never find peace; they are born, only to die, and die again. O Nanak, the True Lord God forgives those, who focus their consciousness on the Guru’s feet. ||2|| Pauree: That Saint, that devotee, is acceptable, who is loved by God. Those beings are wise, who meditate on the Lord. They eat the food, the treasure of the Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord. They apply the dust of the feet of the Saints to their foreheads. O Nanak, they are purified, bathing in the sacred shrine of the Lord. ||26||

ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਤੂੰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੋ ਦੁਖੁ ਕੈਸਾ ਪਾਵੈ ॥ ਬੋਲਿ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਮਾਇਆ ਮਦਿ ਮਾਤਾ ਮਰਣਾ ਚੀਤਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥੧॥ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਤੂੰ ਸੰਤਾ ਕਾ ਸੰਤ ਤੇਰੇ ॥ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਕਉ ਭਉ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਮੁ ਨਹੀ ਆਵੈ ਨੇਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖੁ ਨਾਸਾ ॥ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਖਸ ਨ ਮੇਟੈ ਕੋਈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ॥੨॥ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਨਿ ਸੁਖ ਫਲ ਪਾਇਨਿ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਆਰਾਧਹਿ ॥ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਭਰਵਾਸੈ ਪੰਚ ਦੁਸਟ ਲੈ ਸਾਧਹਿ ॥੩॥ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਾ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣਾ ਤੇਰੀ ॥ ਸਭ ਤੇ ਵਡਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਕਲ ਰਾਖੀ ਮੇਰੀ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੫੭॥

ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ! ਤੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦਾ (ਰਾਖਾ) ਹੈਂ, (ਤੇਰੇ) ਸੰਤ ਤੇਰੇ (ਆਸਰੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ) । ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਪੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ, ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਢੁਕਦਾ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੂੰ (ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖੇਂ) ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਿਆਪਦਾ। ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ, ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਸਹਿਮ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ।੧। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੰਮਣ ਮਰਨ (ਦੇ ਗੇੜ) ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ (ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਇਹ) ਭਰੋਸਾ (ਚੇਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਹੋਈ) ਤੇਰੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਮਿਟਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।੨। ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਤੇਰਾ) ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅੱਠੇ ਪਹਰ ਤੇਰਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਕੇ, ਤੇਰੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਹ (ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕ) ਪੰਜੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।੩। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ (ਭੀ) ਤੇਰੇ (ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਦੀ) ਕਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਾਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਟਿਕਾਣੀ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸਾਂ, ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਭੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੂਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਪਰ (ਤੇਰੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਿਲ ਪਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਲਾਜ ਰੱਖ ਲਈ (ਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ) ।੪।੧੦।੫੭।

जिस के सिर ऊपरि तूं सुआमी सो दुखु कैसा पावै ॥ बोलि न जाणै माइआ मदि माता मरणा चीति न आवै ॥१॥ मेरे राम राइ तूं संता का संत तेरे ॥ तेरे सेवक कउ भउ किछु नाही जमु नही आवै नेरे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ जो तेरै रंगि राते सुआमी तिन्ह का जनम मरण दुखु नासा ॥ तेरी बखस न मेटै कोई सतिगुर का दिलासा ॥२॥ नामु धिआइनि सुख फल पाइनि आठ पहर आराधहि ॥ तेरी सरणि तेरै भरवासै पंच दुसट लै साधहि ॥३॥ गिआनु धिआनु किछु करमु न जाणा सार न जाणा तेरी ॥ सभ ते वडा सतिगुरु नानकु जिनि कल राखी मेरी ॥४॥१०॥५७॥

Mukhwaak Meaning In Hindi

अर्थ: हे मेरे प्रभू पातशाह! तू (अपने) संतो का (रखवाला) है, (तेरे) संत तेरे (आसरे रहते हैं)। हे प्रभू! तेरे सेवक को कोई डर छू नहीं सकता, मौत का डर उसके नजदीक नहीं फटकता।1। रहाउ। हे मेरे मालिक प्रभू! जिस मनुष्य के सिर पर तू (हाथ रखे) उसे कोई दुख नहीं व्यापता। वह मनुष्य माया के नशे में मस्त हो के तो बोलना ही नहीं जानता, मौत का सहिम भी उसके चिक्त में पैदा नहीं होता।1। हे मेरे मालिक! जो मनुष्य तेरे प्रेम-रंग में रंगे रहते हैं, उनके पैदा होने-मरने (के चक्रों) के दुख दूर हो जाते हैं, उन्हें गुरू द्वारा (दिया हुआ ये) भरोसा (हमेशा याद रहता है कि उनके ऊपर हुई) तेरी कृपा को कोई मिटा नहीं सकता।2। हे प्रभू! (तेरे संत तेरा) नाम सिमरते रहते हैं, आत्मिक आनंद भोगते रहते हैं, आठों पहर तेरी आराधना करते हैं। तेरी शरण में आ के, तेरे आसरे रह के वह (कामादिक) पाँचों वैरियों को पकड़ कर बस में कर लेते हैं।3। हे मेरे मालिक प्रभू! मैं (भी) तेरी (कृपा की) कद्र नहीं था जानता, मुझे आत्मिक जीवन की समझ नहीं थी, तेरे चरणों में सुरति टिकानी भी नहीं जानता था, किसी अन्य धार्मिक कर्म की भी मुझे सूझ नहीं थी। पर (तेरी मेहर से) मुझे सबसे बड़ा गुरू नानक मिल गया, जिसने मेरी लाज रख ली (और मुझे तेरे चरणों में जोड़ दिया)।4।10।57।

Soohee, Fifth Mehla: When You stand over our heads, O Lord and Master, how can we suffer in pain? The mortal being does not know how to chant Your Name – he is intoxicated with the wine of Maya, and the thought of death does not even enter his mind. ||1|| O my Sovereign Lord, You belong to the Saints, and the Saints belong to You. Your servant is not afraid of anything; the Messenger of Death cannot even approach him. ||1||Pause|| Those who are attuned to Your Love, O my Lord and Master, are released from the pains of birth and death. No one can erase Your Blessings; the True Guru has given me this assurance. ||2|| Those who meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, obtain the fruits of peace. Twenty-four hours a day, they worship and adore You. In Your Sanctuary, with Your Support, they subdue the five villains. ||3|| I know nothing about wisdom, meditation and good deeds; I know nothing about Your excellence. Guru Nanak is the greatest of all; He saved my honor in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga. ||4||10||57||

ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖ ਮਿੱਤਰੋ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਜੀਵਨ-ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਤੁਰੋ। (ਗੁਰੂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ, ਇਹ) ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਗੁਰੂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਭਲਾ ਸਮਝੋ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਅਨੋਖੀ (ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ) ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਅਸੀ ਜੀਵ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਹਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਗਨ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਅਸੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਰਾਹ ਉਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ? ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਗੁਰੂ (ਆਪ ਹੀ) ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰੇ, ਤੇ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੜ ਲਾ ਲਏ।੧। ਹੇ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਹੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ! ਸੁਣੋ, ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਜਾਓ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ (ਜੀਵਨ-ਸਫ਼ਰ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਖਰਚੀ (ਪੱਲੇ) ਬੰਨ੍ਹੋ। ਮਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਮਝਿਓ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ (ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਲਵਾਂਗੇ) ਭਲਕੇ (ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਲਵਾਂਗੇ। ਟਾਲ ਮਟੋਲੇ ਨਾਹ ਕਰਨੇ) ।੨। ਹੇ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰੋ। (ਇਸ ਜਾਪ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਸੰਤ ਹਰੀ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਚੋਜ-ਤਮਾਸ਼ੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਚੋਜੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੩। ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਬਨਵਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲਾਈ ਰੱਖ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਮਿਲੀ ਰਹੇ।੪।੪।

हम अंधुले अंध बिखै बिखु राते किउ चालह गुर चाली ॥ सतगुरु दइआ करे सुखदाता हम लावै आपन पाली ॥१॥ गुरसिख मीत चलहु गुर चाली ॥ जो गुरु कहै सोई भल मानहु हरि हरि कथा निराली ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ हरि के संत सुणहु जन भाई गुरु सेविहु बेगि बेगाली ॥ सतगुरु सेवि खरचु हरि बाधहु मत जाणहु आजु कि काल्ही ॥२॥ हरि के संत जपहु हरि जपणा हरि संतु चलै हरि नाली ॥ जिन हरि जपिआ से हरि होए हरि मिलिआ केल केलाली ॥३॥ हरि हरि जपनु जपि लोच लुोचानी हरि किरपा करि बनवाली ॥ जन नानक संगति साध हरि मेलहु हम साध जना पग राली ॥४॥४॥

अर्थ: हे गुरसिख मित्रो! गुरू के बताए हुए राह पर चलो। (गुरू कहता है कि परमात्मा की सिफत सालाह किया केरो, ये) जो कुछ गुरू कहता है, इसको (अपने लिए) भला समझो, (क्योंकि) प्रभू की सिफत सालाह अनोखी (तब्दीली जीवन में पैदा कर देती है)।1। रहाउ। हे भाई! हम जीव माया के मोह में बहुत अँधे हो के मायावी पदार्थों के जहर में मगन रहते हैं। हम कैसे गुरू के बताए हुए राह पर चल सकते हैं? सुखों को देने वाला गुरू (खुद ही) मेहर करे, और हमें अपने साथ लगा ले।1। हे हरी के संत जनो! हे भाईयो! सुनो, जल्दी ही गुरू की शरण पड़ जाओ। गुरू की शरण पड़ कर (जीवन यात्रा के लिए) परमात्मा के नाम की खर्ची (पल्ले) बाँधो। कहीं ये ना समझ लेना कि आज (ये काम कर लेंगे) सवेरे (ये काम कर लेंगे। टाल-मटोल नहीं करना)।2। हे हरी के संत जनो! परमात्मा के नाम का जाप किया करो। (इस जाप की बरकति से) हरी का संत हरी की रजा में चलने लग जाता है। हे भाई! जो मनुष्य परमात्मा का नाम जपते हैं, वे परमात्मा का रूप हो जाते हैं। रंग-तमाशे करने वाला तमाशेबाज (चोजी) प्रभू उन्हें मिल जाता है।3। हे दास नानक!
