Creating a professional website requires a few essential components, especially if you’re opting for a paid version. Below, we break down the four key elements you need to get started:
1. Hosting (Server)
Hosting is where your website lives on the internet. It’s essentially the storage space for your website’s files, databases, and other necessary elements. Choosing a reliable hosting provider is crucial for ensuring that your website is fast, secure, and always accessible.
Example: You can purchase hosting packages from companies like Hostinger, which offers various plans depending on your needs. With Hostinger, you get fast servers, excellent customer support, and a range of features to help you manage your website efficiently.
2. Domain Name
Your domain name is your website’s address on the internet. Itโs how users will find your site. Picking a domain name that’s memorable and relevant to your brand is essential.
Example: A domain like www.yourwebsite.com is easy to remember and aligns with your brand identity. You can register a domain name through various registrars, and often, hosting companies like Hostinger offer domain registration as part of their hosting packages.
3. SSL Certificate (Optional)
An SSL certificate encrypts the data transmitted between your website and its visitors, adding a layer of security. Itโs especially important for websites that handle sensitive information, such as e-commerce sites. While optional, an SSL certificate is recommended to build trust with your visitors and improve your websiteโs SEO.
Example: Hostinger provides SSL certificates with its hosting plans. Having an SSL certificate enables the HTTPS protocol for your site, which not only secures your site but also boosts your search engine rankings.
4. Example Hosting Plan from Hostinger
Hostinger offers affordable and reliable hosting plans suitable for various types of websites, from personal blogs to business sites. Hereโs what you get with Hostingerโs hosting plans:
Fast Load Times: Quick server response ensures your website loads fast.
Free Domain Name: Some plans include a free domain for the first year.
24/7 Support: Hostingerโs support team is available to help you around the clock.
SSL Certificate: Included with most hosting plans for enhanced security.

By following these steps and using a reliable hosting provider like Hostinger, you can set up a professional and secure website in no time. Whether youโre starting a blog, an online store, or a business site, these components are essential to getting your website up and running.
In the village of ‘Aalowal’ in the district of Patiala, Sant Ishar Singh Ji Maharaj was born to Mata Ratan Kaur and Sardar Ram Singh Numberdar on August 5, 1905. His childhood name was Gulab Singh. Indeed, he was like a rose whose fragrance of spirituality spread to every corner of the world.
He received his early education from the primary school in the village ‘Chulela.’ Later, he enrolled in the Model School in Patiala and studied there until matriculation.
During this time, with the inspiration of his paternal aunt’s son and guardian, Sardar Dilip Singh Ji, he had the fortune to visit Reru Sahib and have the darshan of Sant Atar Singh Ji. Through Sant Atar Singh Ji’s guidance, Gulab Singh was transformed into Ishar Singh.
In 1924, after completing his tenth-grade examination, he went to Reru Sahib in a state of renunciation and spent several years there engaged in meditation and service. He received the blessing of serving humanity through Kirtan from Sant Atar Singh Ji.
On January 21, 1927, Sant Atar Singh Ji left his mortal body. This left Sant Ishar Singh Ji deeply saddened. To overcome this melancholy, he embarked on a pilgrimage to various holy places with Sant Kishan Singh Ji.
Afterward, accepting the request of Sri Gyan Singh ‘Rarrewala,’ he made the Dhakki of the village ‘Rara Sahib’ his place of penance. He spent about 9 years at this Dhakki, and in 1936, he established the current location, which he named ‘Karmsar’ after Sant Karam Singh Ji Maharaj of Hoti Mardan. This place became a center for the propagation of Gurmat, where daily discourses and monthly gatherings were held.
For almost half a century, he spread the message of Gurmat not just in India but to the far corners of the world. In December 1949, he traveled to Africa for Gurmat propagation and spent about 13 months uplifting the congregation with the simple teachings of Gurbani.
Until his last breath, he continued the mission of Gurmat propagation in villages and cities. He established centers of Gurmat propagation, where annual congregations were held. Every congregation included an Amrit Sanchar ceremony. Due to the well-organized Gurmat propagation by Sant Ji Maharaj, approximately 600,000 people received the great gift of Amrit.
In addition to Gurmat propagation, he made significant contributions to the field of education. In 1945, he established a Higher Secondary School in this rural area. In 1969, it was upgraded to a Degree College. Today, both institutions are successfully run by the Punjab government as ‘Government Senior Secondary School, Karmsar’ and ‘Government College, Karmsar.’
In 1974 and 1975, he traveled to England for Gurmat propagation. Finally, on August 26, 1975, while sitting in meditation, he left his physical body in Wolverhampton, England. His mortal remains were brought back to Punjab and on September 1, 1975, were immersed in the river Sutlej in front of Gurdwara ‘Bibhor Sahib’ (Nangal).
